Identifying Need for Minimum Rx Size
SC Solutions reports the Co-Pay Benefit Cost vs. the WAC Revenue generated by each redemption. This typically varies by several factors one of which is RX size. After pointing out to the client that a number of small Rx's of less than 14 tablets were being filled at a high benefit cost (72%) they changed the business rules of the program to have a greater minimum Rx size to be eligible for the co-pay program benefits. This type of analysis has also been used to incentivize programs that encourage 90-day Rx fills vs. the standard 30-day Rx resulting in improved patient persistency and program profitability. |
